I watch every celtics game and a lot of other NBA games and Rondo is overated. I dont remember the last time I saw him beat a guy with power and speed with the shot clock winding down like williams and rose can do. He has great speed in the open floor, but inside the arc he cant break down an opposing defender when his team is struggling to score. And he cant hit the open 18 footer at that time either. To be elite you need to be able to drive to the hoop and get fouled. To be considered great you have to either be able to drain it from the outside or get to the rim and he can't do either. He is a system pg, ppl love him cause he was a terrific late first round pick. But would anyone here trade cp3, williams or rose for rondo?.................hes just in the next level under these other guys.

to everyone who tries to bring up rondos ring, go look at the box scores in the NBA finals that year. And then look at how many times in critical situations he was not in the game. That championship was ALL BIG 3 and posey, they won that ring as RONDO STRUGGLED. They could have won the title that year with starbury at the point.........Rondo is not in the top five PG's, and he never will be. He will not reach the level of a superstar pg. He will make the all-star team every so often, and probably not for a while when his hall of fame mates retire. Just look at the celts salaries, he just restructured his contract and he makes about half of each of the big 3. Cause that is what he is worth. He doesnt get cp3 money, or williams money or nash money cause he isnt at their level. Hes solid but Nash is in the hall, and cp3 will be someday as well. Wait until rondo tries to carry a team like cp3

Because if you watch the game closely Portland is letting him shoot it. Portland is worried more about Garnett, Pierce and Allen. They will back off of Rondo, because he is no threat, and they will give him the shot. I bet teams wont do that to Nash, Williams, or Paul. Its the lack of respect and thats what make him overrated!

Just watch how the Blazers give him all the space to shoot the ball
