newbie question:
I was looking at the pictures of thepig and I read an article on betfair and I was curious how much action an A rated book like jamaica, greek, etc take on an average night of baseball? Is it in the millions a night, 100s thousands, 10s thousands? The operation for the pig looks like it is geared for a hell of a lot of action and I am guessing that a pretty high volume would be needed to support that operation.
I am a twins fan and I bet them a lot just for fun in the $300 - $500 range a night. Does a bet that size matter at all to a book or is it tiny? Would a game like seattle/twins typically generate more than 50,000 of action a night at a book? Also, how many bets, regardless of amount, would they take on a twins/seattle game during the couple of hours before gametime? Are there hundreds or thousands of bets streaming through?
Thanks
