    5dimes e-check delays...RIDICULOUS 30 Business DAYS?
So I just got off of chatting with a CS rep from 5dimes. On 8/06, I deposited $300 with 5dimes using their new E-check function.

It originally said 4 business days to clear n their website. THen they changed their estimate to 15 busines days. Okay, that is worse, but NOW.......

Chris: It could take up to 30 business days, it was received on the 8th so we still are on the estimated timeframe.
Chris: I am sorry, but this is the estimated timeframe now.

That is insane. I was just trying out the new option to see if I liked it. So I have over 5K with them in my account and I cant withdraw for 6 weeks?

Someone needs to look into this, that just isn't right.

Is anyone else having the same problem from an E-CHeck deposit at 5Dimes? Not being able to withdraw?

I started a thread about this issue earlier this month. 5 Dimes has eliminated the electronic check deposit alltogether. Very sketchy is the word I would use.

Well the e-check has been working fine for me at 5-dimes. I have made a few deposits of $300 for football season and basically every 4-5 days I can make a deposit. It usually clears my bank in 4 days and then the next day I can make another e-check deposit.

Sounds like they are having trouble getting the info from the processor and seeing whose checks cleared and whose bounced. I will check with 5Dimes to see what the status is on releasing funds.

Just as a follow up, My e-check cleared after 21 regular days even though it had said on the website 4 business days. Additionally, they just began allowing e-check deposits again so I think it must have been a problem with the processor for e-check. I was able to withdraw and do a book-to-book transfer.

They should clarify the language on their website. I had a balance over 5K there, and did e-check as a test then was restricted, even if I "reserved" that money in my account, from doing any outgoing transactions.

Thanks Mocking. With eCheck and other instant crediting methods like credit cards the books would cancel out all of the winnings had the deposit not gone through.

It looks like an 8 day wait at present but as we know, they can be delayed.

That's bullshit! Imagine winning 5 dimes at 5 Dimes and then have them take it all away because your deposit didn't go thru.
