i dont' think it's a big conspiracy (and i do love my conspiracies), but i remember this happening about a year ago on this forum, although it wasn't such a big deal. i think it was just a mistake by someone.

Actually, doing something like that isn't 'simple' at all. Unless some tweak has been done in the last day or so on vBulletin, you have to move the entire thread when you move/delete the first post. Then you have to move the other posts back and title it the same. Not saying that is what happened here, don't know and don't give a rat's ass about whatever this is all about. Just trying to throw in some ideas how it would have to be done.
