    Who remembers their first wager?
    I vaguely remember. I was in Vegas with my folks when I was around 16 or 17, and I placed my first wager. It was the Timberwolves (when they had Garnett).

    I was so nervous, I bet 47$ and was shaking cause I was underage and didn't wanna get busted, didn't have a fake Id. It lost....but this started my sports gambling run

      Bet lakers and rockets parlay when i was 18 on Bodog. $200 parlay to win like 400 something. This lead to my burial.

                  At a book? Ok, I put $10 on each of Kelly Downey (Vegas Capper's) Week 3 NFL plays. He went 9-6 or something, so I kept tailing him for a few weeks after that. It worked nicely.

                                  my 1st bet is 10 years ago bet on Denver NFL won 200 buck all season won more the 10k then untill now i lose more the 70k

                                          1st time was on Mise O Jeu, the government run sports picks thing here.

                                          It was a 6 team soccer parlay! And here's the best part, I would look at the sheet and see all the favorites were bolded and thought to myself "Wait a minute... they are giving you the winners for each game already. All the favorites are supposed to win. This is a GOLD MINE!!"

                                          I lost that one by one game that tied instead of won. Each day I'd do a 6 teamer thinking they already gave you the winners and that it was free money. That's one problem going into it without being a sports fan first, I had no clue how often upsets happen.

                                                  yankees red sox 1962 me and greg margalise, put a bet in with fathers bookie 90 dollar win with the sox I WAS 11 and also pitched for 3 local teams, i started betting in little leaque for me to win, that had to be a first, i was like pete rose only bet for my team to win 11 yrs old , how the hell did i stand a chance

                                                      Back in late 1997, I lost the game by a half point. It was so exciting, I still do it 12 years later.
