Because JJ has marching orders to promote the replacement power posters since the Great Exodus of 2010 ad nauseum. SBR is feeling far more vulnerable than they have been letting on. Covers has been totally whipping their ass lately, and Covers doesn't have to pay people in points to get them to post. Thus we have a slightly different JJ than what we're used to, he's being micromanaged much in the same way Loshak/CarpeDime is and it's ruining their posting personas.

Well if logical minds are deciding that Bateman will bring in traffic,somebody has to step back and rethink their options.This guy will definatly run off more posters than he brings,that's a proven fact.

I'm not disagreeing that it's completely counter-productive, because it is. But SBR doesn't know that. And the one thing you learn about SBR after talking to their employees is that decisions aren't made based on logic, they're made based on ego. If you don't say yes to the ideas of the guy signing the checks, you don't get anymore checks, and thus most ideas never receive the vetting that they would in more efficient companies.

This is true in alot of companies but for a business like this that counts on numbers,I don't see the trade off.When I see the number of posters at the other site,it seems that was alot of hits this one is missing.I don't think anybody in management here thought that so many would put their feet in the sand and actually go on permaleave.Time will tell.
