100k Bookmaker pays SBR a month for advertising and refferals

I have said this. Lots of the employees of these books post on SBR. You can guarantee that word will get back to certain owners of the activity that is going on here. I would be furious if I owned a book and paid a fee to advertise here. Knowing that if you talk to certain posters, you can get set up a credit or post up account and start wagering for real currency. It mind boggles me that SBR could care less about this.

Also, someone said the other day something about talking about doing business with your local was not good, because this place is sponsored by books. Well, I'd say 50% of us have a local and use offshore. This is a forum where people talk sports gambling & talk what they know. Do you pay the heat off Tony? My local never thought our county sheriff would be voted out of office in his lifetime, my local is about 65. He was! And now he has to lay a little lower. The feds have a lot more to worry about then bookmaking. And even for the biggest busts of them all it's not as bad as you think punishment wise.

Bookmaking is a slap on the wrist kind of crime. It's not like pushing dope or running a damn escort ring. It's worth the risk in many cases.
