I think he was referring to the triple digit gains and losses that we have seen for most trading days in the last month or so.

I understand DH but believe me this last month has been nothing compared to 02'... 400 point moves in a DAY were not uncommon and the market was less then it is now so to get the same affect you would have to have 500 point swings in a DAY not a week... Not to mention that this went on for four months... June - October... I watched it through out the whole day then because me and a buddy had a bet... When the DOW was at 10K in late May I bet him it would go to 7K by the end of the year... He thought I was crazy... I lost by 286 points...
