Has anyone else noticed this in college BB

This is something I noticed because betting alot of favorites it really stands out. Have you noticed the teams favored in college games usually play poorly in the first half or they just do a very late burst before half to take a one point lead.

I was wondering if anyone is having success just taking the dog with the points for first half plays and hitting 60-65%?

I actually agree with this, a lot of times it does seem like the home fav is losing at half and comes back strong in 2nd half

if they have consistently been hitting 60-65% on their plays so far this year, they aren't here on the message board right now. they are on a beach relaxing or enjoying their winnings in some other way

Sammy last week I cut down on the heavy ML's bet mainly with the spread and only went 6-4. But I am sure someone is onto this first half idea and may even have a good idea which dogs in what point spread range cover.

Ex 1-3. 3-6, 7-10. Or if based on conferences. I am sure this should click with some good research. I notice it in almost all my college plays.

Any idea where to get 1st half lines?
For my baseball system I used hours of research on Bodog...have not looked there yet for this.

not believing does not mean it does not work... I had doubters all baseball season but used a half capping half system format that gave me a winning year. Will it happen again who knows?

But I would like to get all the tournament scores and lines from last year and see if this hit at all... During the regular season it may work better because of let down, where as in the tournament most teams seem into the games.

I remember cocknocker had a secret play idea and i believe it was based on the first half where there was a line above a certain amount maybe 10? With the total spread being over 14? Someone I am sure used it... It was explained do not remember..

I know there is someone doing a system with second half bets... But the idea here is to catch the favorites napping...not worrying about taking over till the second half....

Exactly and especially in games they set up for you to watch! Odd how so many so the tv games seem to fall into place...

This system would eliminate teams like Marist and others that should not have BB teams...but include teams that play competitive...

It would also include reviews of scoring on road and at home ....

But for those of you that remember Curious he bet almost every single game on the board quarter by quarter in the NBA. I was thinking his system could be refined down to a group of teams instead of every game. Less random...possibly successful. He did have some eye opening days...I think he was onto something..but his temper would get him banned weekly...

As I go through the season I am trying a few different things.. I think with working on something like this you could find those teams that sleep in the first half... I believe Curious was onto something...

G's....one of the things I do quite often, and it's pretty easy, really, is to just compare the 1st half lines with the full game lines. If a team is favored -13.5 for the game, but you are getting +8 for the first half, it makes sense that you have a pretty solid 1H line for the dog. It is an objective system, and it works pretty well for me whenever I try it. I just don't like to do it because I don't have the time...but I definitely think it's a profitable system over time. GL

college basketball is so volatile, i saw teams having odds of -500 losing with 10 or 11 points difference but it doesn't happen often with other sports, FC Barcelona will NEVER loose a match at home against at team in the bottom 5 of the Ligue, u can put ur house on them winning the eyes closed

yes they fall behind then catch up tie take a lead to cover then win a point short of the cover eg. kansas @A&M

I been taking dogs + points for the first half in football and basketball and favorites - points for the game forever

I agree 100%. Seems the favorites, and in many cases big favorites have a tough time getting a 1st half lead, and erupt for a 10 point run in the 1st few minutes of 2nd Half.

one detail seems overlooked by most gamblers is where the play takes place, i noticed that favorite play better when they play outside because there is no pressure from the fans and from the managment. wisconsin, the 4th best team in the conference won away vs michigan and lost at home against illinois while its graded higher than those 2 teams.
