I live just up the road, what the **** do you want to go there for when you can go 90 miles north and be in Tampa and everything it has to offer!!?!?!?!

My mother lives near that area. There's a lot of retirees and golf courses. Other than golf, there's not a whole lot. It's expensive to live there. If you don't want the big city like Tampa, I'd suggest the Sarasota - Bradenton area. It's real nice. You are not a far drive from Tampa if you need to go into the city for a ball game or something. As any place in Florida, there is alot of nice golf courses as well.Comment -

Sarasota and Bradenton are busy as hell these days.......if you want small town atomsphere, go to Lake Wells or Dade City and be a hick.
I live 25 north of Tampa..........great area, semi-rural and highly recommend.Comment -

The Dock & Riverwalk restaurants on 9th ave are good places to eat. Great atmosphere. Also try Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. If you're going busto before day 6, try something cheaper on east side of US 41 or in Golden Gate where all the rednecks live.
