I have to disagree with you sir, some events are rather complicated and just for the mention of you being at the Olympics representing your country pulling all the best ouf of yourself, that's inspiring, a bronze medal knowing you did all you could must be satisfactory.

The other medals mean more to the countries that have less participation. If they did not have a chance at those, there would probably be a lot less people interested.
