Soccer, tennis? Whaddya, retaaaaaahded?
Ok, here's the deal. I know soccer is perhaps the most watched sport on the planet. I get it. However, if you are going to tell me that even more than a slight minority are clamoring for it here on SBR, as well as it's effeminate cousin Tennis, I say you're retaaaaaaaahded. Now, if you're from some god forsaken part of the globe that worships boredom, well, I can't help you. However, I was raised in the good ol' US of A and we decided long ago that we needed something other than 89 minutes and 30 seconds of tedium just to watch 30 seconds of excitement. That's why we created football, basketball, baseball and stole a decent idea from the Canucks, hockey.
SBR is essentially comprised of posters from North America. Let's not pretend that everyone wants soccer. Those that do can't help themselves because they grew up with it. Dogs grow up licking their own balls, they can't help it either (and on lonely nights neither can I) but that doesn't mean we have to like it dammit. So Pavy, you and your disciples can have soccer lines on SBR along with Tennis. Just stay in your dark corner of SBR and me and my friends will bask in the light.
