I Googled area code "506" and came up with Canada; not that hard of a concept but yer mind isn't sharp enough matey.

Well with VOIP becoming more popular, area codes may not provide the true location of the person you are calling. Vonage allows its customers (for $5 a month) to add additional phone numbers using any available area code, I can have a phone number with an Ohio or any other US state's area code here in Canada and vice versa.

Area code 506 is for New Brunswick.

A free handicapping contest with tangible prizes, sounds great. cudos to SBR for allowing all to participate without any financial or sign up prerequisites.

However there is one small thing that is a bit scary to me, and to be honest if it were a sportsbook or poker site and i read it there i would definitly stay away.

This is it: 1st line in fine print section:

Either SBR,BC,BM,JB may deny entry or prizes for any contestant (scary part>)without cause and rules may be modified without prior notice.

Now i do realize that a freeroll is a freeroll and no biatching is meant by this at all by me.

I am also slightly out of my element here as i play poker 90%more then i do bet on sports.

Any opinions? is that rule a bit scary or is it me overthinking it?

I guess all i can say is our rep is tied to this so no one will ever be treated unfair.

But in this day and age you have to cover yourself. There are hackers and cheaters and goverments and a whole lot of risks to try to anticipate.
