The NBA needs non-guaranteed contracts. Once the player signs the dotted line they tend to relax. Need to make them feel like their job is on the line every season.

Then to top it off, the Hornets beat the Celtics without Chris Paul. WOW!

Not killing me, teams always play better when the team star is out. Gives other people time to shine and less ball hogging when the star is out.
If it seems to good to be true it usually is!!

I have a natural instinct to exploit market ineffieciencies!!

How can you win gambling when stuff like this happens? There's no way in hell the Hornets should be able to beat the Celtics without Chris Paul. Their roster is filled with scrubs.

Kobe never could won title without Gasol and Odom, they both are pretty big time players.

People just step it up when the star player is out. The effect never lasts very long. It does bring results because nobody plays too hard in the NBA until after the ASB.

Gasol seems to shine when not "constrained" by the presence of Bynum.....lends credence to a possible Bynum / Bosh trade.

They sat Rondo a lot and didn't have many starters in at key parts of the game didnt seem like the coach wanted to win
