I just read something on this on another forum the other day. From what I read everyone gets denied about the first 3 times. It helps to get a SS disability attorney. This is just second hand info from what I read.

Took me 18 months. Get a lawyer. They dont charge anything up front. They take their fee out of your back pay when you get approved. I didnt have a hearing though. They took one look at what my doctor wrote and approved it without a hearing. What sucks is they are paying the back pay now in 3 payments 6 months apart. My first payment was 6k 6 weeks ago. And in 6 months I will get another 6k and 6 months after that another 6k. Whats good is I will get a payment in July in time for the SBR bash. So I will BE THERE this time. I want to see what all the tuff guys want to say then.

you will get denied until the 3rd time...people are hustling the system daily...which makes it harder for people that really do need it

just keep fighting and your medical records are your friend
