#38I see Curry having a chance as being a B grade Gary Payton. But it's hard to run a pure point with the Warriors, and especially when you have Ellis as your other guard. I expect the warriors to trade Ellis in 2011/12/13 or just let him go (stupid). If they don't they will just extend their high scoring no defense ways, and get beat down by top teams continually for another 10 years.Comment -

Do you think we might see something of him that we haven't seen yet?
Ray could pull some finals heroics out of his ass or makes some big threes against Lebron and the Cavs or do this or do that, and it will change our perception of him. Ray Allen was one of the best in the league until he got to the C's, he's just being overshadowed now.Comment -

#46Originally posted by williams22I was either 15 or 16 at the time. I was at a camp at Duke during the summer and made it to the finals against Curry. Beat him in front of Dell and Coach K. He got the better of me in a scrimmage a day or two later though."I have never seen a wild thing feel sorry for itself. Actually it was a joke. Curry's nickname is Middle School.
But why do you have such a beef with Curry?Comment -

#49Originally posted by williams22Eh, I had D2 and D3 schools that spoke to me and could have walked on at some lower D1s, but I chose a school based on academics instead and they had a full roster already."I have never seen a wild thing feel sorry for itself. #51I don't know how to compare my ratings to yours but I was a decent 5'10 (!!!) point-guard from 9th to 11th grade. I started catching some height right after I stopped playing basketball"I have never seen a wild thing feel sorry for itself. Now I just have to enjoy the small memories like beating Curry, and even some of the less good ones like having Jason (Jay now) Williams cross me up so badly I fell.Comment -

#54Originally posted by williams22Of course I do in some ways. Nothing beats playing ball, but I was never going to be good enough to make a living of it so I have to focus on the degree instead. #56Originally posted by williams22By the way, now you know where my username comes from. I've never seen a guy in person with better handles than Jay Williams. #58Originally posted by Tree RollinsYou were definitely better then i was. I know because of the guys you were playing against and the fact that i never had anything more then a d3 offer. I was 6'1 when i graduated, we were 2nd ranked team in VA but blew it in the tournament. I shot to 6'3 or so in college but went to a D1 school and never played anything more then intramurals there. I never got on the court with the likes of Jwill or Curry. I played against some decent guys but not that caliber."I have never seen a wild thing feel sorry for itself. Then again, basketball in Israel is very much underdeveloped and sidetracked than in USA. Only way to find out is go heads up? lol..
Edit: post #57 where i quoted you, that was an accident, i thought i was quoting williams22. Nevermind though, I'm sure you're really good too!Comment -

#60Originally posted by Tree RollinsDid williams play in isreal? and also, i am so f'ing out of shape it makes me sad right now. I don't look all that out of shape but i'm already starting to have some problems with my knees and i can't breath after running up the court 3 times. For some reason, i rarely even play pick-up ball anymore, maybe it's this forum?"I have never seen a wild thing feel sorry for itself.
