Just got back from spending a week in Vegas and staying at Aria. The place is mind blowing. Word is upon complete completion the total cost will be well over 11 Billion. Just curious what everyone else who has seen it thinks.

Housing is a great buy right now in Vegas.........looking at purchasing a home there in the next 8-18 months, as I feel that is going to be the perfect time.

This is if I indeed move back home to Vegas.

I dont care for the really large places. I hate the Belagio. I play double deck blackjack and could play at less than $100 a hand on the weekend. I had a room at the Nugget and Belagio. Stayed one night in the Belagio and went back to the nugget. It was convenient while enjoying the night life on the strip though.

Oh definitely. New construction in Vegas still ain't cheap though. Recently foreclosed or construction during the early 2000's that has been on the market is great. Sometimes I just look at real estate there b/c it makes me feel better.

Wow. It's almost to good to pass up if you can relocate and make it your residence for 2 out of the next 5 years (making up to 250k in gains deductible).

It's a no-brainer, wish I could work from Vegas. Maybe I should take the NV Bar Exam.

                      ........because.........

                      1. I love Vegas

                      2. I like to have a house that I own so that I can do what I want.........although I do enjoy renting and it is an option.

I have a friend that lives at Lake Las Vegas. It is amazing what he gets for the money out there right now. Places can be had for next to nothing considering what you get there.

Going back for March Madness and staying at the Golden Nugget. Love the Nugget. Don't care much for Bellagio myself.
