    Sportsbooks reporting winnings?
I heard that when you win in Vegas you have to fill out paperwork that goes to the government for taxes. Does that happen with overseas books? If so, how does it work? Do they send a 1099 or some form?

    Thanks

No. No offshore sportsbook or casino will issue an American a 1099.

However, the IRS can determine you received gaming money depending on your withdraw method. If you withdrew a lot more than you can prove you deposited you need the advice of a good tax attorney or CPA.
