419 Scammers Nigeria..watch out.

Microsoft has joined Nigerian authorities and made this rap song trying to stop the so called 419 scammers:



The video is trying to encourage Nigerians to stand on their own feet, not being scammers.

There was a guy in this area which sent approx 2 mill dollars to these scammers, being promised he would receive approx 10 times the money in return. He used investment money from other people, who believed he was investing into properties in the US. Needless to say, he never received anything.

yeah i had one trying to scam me on craigslist. I made him think i was believing him and he sent me over $5,000 in fake moneygram money orders with UPS. So i pretended like i deposited them in my bank account and i told them they cleared. He was expecting me to wire him back $3500. So i played around with him for a few days. And then i sent a Western union to him for $1.00. I emailed him the mtcn number and he was all fired up. I wish i could have seen his face when they paid him out $1.00
