No because Brees isn't hyped to be one of the best QBs of all time, while some people think Manning is.

People think Manning is like in the top 3 of all time QB's, mainly because of his regular season statistics.

If brees never does anything else he is forever the hero of new orleans. I have a feelin we'll be seeing this guy in the postseason alot and in the superbowl again soon. He will spend his career at NO as now his name is mentioned with the reverance that Manning is in that town & the owner will never let him go.

If he keeps putting up big numbers but fails to win a superbowl, I wouldnt call him overrated. But if his numbers slowly decline and he doesnt get another ring, Id call him overrated for sure

Plenty of great QB's who never won a superbowl, a superbowl ring is not what decides a great QB

Peyton Manning's failures in the Big Games of his career

                  Failure #1
The Vols opened the 1996 season ranked second behind Nebraska and one of the favorites to win the national championship.[22] However, after winning their first two games against UNLV and UCLA, the Vols again lost to Florida, 35–29, with Manning throwing four interceptions.
                  Failure #2
The 3rd-ranked Vols were matched-up with 2nd-ranked Nebraska in the Orange Bowl; if Tennessee won and top-ranked Michigan lost to Washington State in the Rose Bowl, the Vols would win the national championship.[33] However, the Vols' defense could not stop Nebraska's rushing attack, giving up over 400 rushing yards in a 42–17 loss.[34]
                  Failure #3
Manning took over and moved the Colts to the Saints' 31 yard line. Facing a 3rd & 5 with 3:24 left, his pass intended for Reggie Wayne was intercepted by Tracy Porter, who returned it 74 yards for a critical TD and 31-17 Saints lead. Manning drove the Colts down to the 5 yard line in the last minute, but his 4th & goal pass was dropped by Reggie Wayne at the goal line.
Peyton Manning can't win the big game, except once in his career.
