I too love soccer/futbol lullaby (have coached it on the high school and U18 level), and wish it got more publicity stateside. When I tuned in it was already 2-1 Liverpool, but I look forward to checking out the goal later on this evening. Steven's a terrific player, and it's nice to see someone who is homegrown and remains as loyal to one club as he has. I've always been cursed with being a Bolton Wanderer fan unfortunately. I bet on Liverpool in that game and was watching and was incredulous when the shittiest ref in the EPL, Mike Riley, awarded a DUBIOUS penalty to Villa for an alleged handball by Carragher. But Stevie G made it a non-factor by curling that sumptuous kick into the top right corner. Theres no one I would rather have taking a free kick outside the area than Gerrard (well, besides the obvious Juninho from Lyon).
