SBR BASH 3 ideas thread

Hey guys, I have seen SBR John say that SBR starts planning the bash a week after the superbowl so lets give them some ideas.

For those who dont know, here is how the last 2 bashed where ran:

Las Vegas Golden Nugget, Friday and Saturday.

Friday: Ice Breaker, free drinks
Saturday: Golf, Poker tourney, nice dinner

Lets get some ideas rolling in here for SBR to think about. Here are a few of mine.

1) A late Thursday night pre ice breaker get together. I would say 50%+ arrive to the bash on Thursday, I would like to see an early kind of pre-icebreaker for those who do. Maybe just like a 1 hour small event for the early birds, around 10pm.

2) Have an outside private event around the Golden Nugget pool. Maybe a great place for the Friday night main icebreaker event? Have a few private blackjack tables, ect.

3) Some good handicapping contests while in Vegas. SBR got the ball rolling with that 6,000 point contest for everyone who was out there, so it was a great start.

4) Give Sammy a fake ID

I like everything but 1. I don't want arrive to a group of guys having a suckfest. It's hard enough interacting with a seemingly universal group of psychopath deviants.

Bash was a good time last summer and thanks again to John, Bill and my dad (still waiting for a hair sample for DNA testing) for having me there.

If I am welcome to attend again this year, I'd be very interested in playing some BJ at the pool. A few private BJ tables sounds like a good idea.

You should be planning your wedding instead of the Bash if you want to stay married long enough. Worry about the flowers, the food and the cake if you want to make your bride happy.
