    Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox, left for dead two weeks ago, have won 13 consecutive games, and have gone from +1200 to make the playoffs, to even money.

The futures have been taken down for adjustments, but there's plenty of value if you can get Boston to make the playoffs at even money or better.
Before today's win, Boston had a 67 percent chance to reach the postseason.Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	0 Size:	116.2 KB ID:	29945338

The two hottest teams in baseball are facing off tonight. The Red Sox -140 have won 13 straight and the Orioles +130 have won 7 in a row. Boston is at home. Both pitchers, Tolle (Bos) and Baz (Bal) are well rested. I'm on Boston. Better starting pitcher, better bullpen, and at home, but it should be a good game.

-142 is still a good value.
b-r.com says Boston has a 73.3% chance of reaching the playoffs.
        73.3% implied odds -280

Red Sox now -160. With that kind of movement it looks like I won't be the only one happy if they win tonight.

Ugly Red Sox win last night.
Ugly wins are better than pretty losses.

I actually watched the whole game. Exciting the whole way. The Orioles were sloppy, and the Sox made them pay. Great snag by Cheng to win the game for Boston.

                  15 straight wins.

Red Sox 6-3 Orioles (Jul 22, 2026) Box Score - ESPN

What's amazing is Boston has won 15 consecutive without their staff ace (Crochet) and without their boy wonder outfielder (Roman Anthony)

Not to mention playing with a backup SS and a 100-year-old (Chapman) closing out games.

The second game of the day/night doubleheader is 7:00
I honestly thought last night's rainout would screw up the rhythm of this streak.

Orioles end Red Sox's record-tying 15-game winning streak - ESPN

Yeah, the Sox were in a bad spot in the night game.
Bradish wasn't going to lose, for all intents and purposes, to mediocre minor league relievers posing as starters.
                      Boston ran out of arms.

15 consecutive games was a hell of a ride.

All in all, with 60 games remaining, Boston has a better-than-75 % chance of reaching the post-season.
Implied odds -324, making the current price of -192 a bargain.
(Not that I would lay -192, just making a point is all).
