I sorta agree with K13 to some extent. Argentina gets ALL the calls. What’s scary about the final is that it seems like FIFA wants Messi to win two cups in a row. I may not bet the game but if the over/ under is 3 or less, I’ll take my chances with over… but I must admit, the pass to the guy who scored the winning goal was a world class pass. Amazing really.. but England was simply horrible. I’d be surprised if the England coach survives…
I actually feel somewhat the same about Ovechkin. I don’t think he’s a GREAT hockey player. A great scorer, yes.. His +/- has been totally upside down for such a prolific scorer. He is always in on the Power plays and just stands around. Every once in a small while, he will throw a check on some unsuspecting player against the boards. And usually he’s twice the size of the guy.. he never takes face offs and never has to play against the other teams power-play. The only reason why he won a Stanley cup is because the National Hockey League gave it to him through the refs against a first year team. He signed for another year.
