Yeah there was a time when the Czechs were one of the best teams in Europe. They had Petr Cech and Pavel Nedved. Both were top class players. They were never quite able to put it all together. Sort of like Belgium.

In that particular tournament (Euro 2004), I think most pundits would rate Czechs as the top team. Very good attacking options (Rosicky/Koller/Baros) and a top goalie. Still have to prove it, and GRE stymied them w/ a defensive shell.
