Good coach. In my mind, will go down as a little unlucky:
1) Good teams in PORT. Ran into better teams like DET/LAK/CHI.
2) Built good teams in SAC. Will still think about the Gm6 that the NBA refs gift-wrapped to LAKERS.

...The Blazer teams were good enough to win a title. Quite a few of those players died prematurely. Duckworth/Petrovic/Kersey/CliffRobinson.

79 is young. You’re right on Chucky. He had a run of bad luck. The NBA didn’t want Portland and Sac to win titles and acted accordingly. That game 6 to this day was pathetic.
