If VCU lose today, would they still get in?

Bill Adee at VSIN wrote an informative column this morning.
He wrote that the most compelling game of the weekend is VCU - Dayton

        SOURCE: VSIN
        -Bill Adee

Seven teams vying for four spots: Missouri, Miami (Ohio), SMU, Texas, Oklahoma, Auburn, and San Diego State.

There is also just one bid thief scenario in play, and that comes Sunday if Dayton wins the Atlantic 10 and VCU remains an at-large.
In that case, the bubble shrinks to seven teams for three spots.

I try to drown out the background white noise and turn the volume down on the so-called 'bracketology experts.'
Most of them strut around like their crap doesn't stink, and that their opinion is the only opinion.
(That's correct, Mel Kiper, I'm looking right at you)
Opinions are like butt holes, (did you see what I just did there) everybody has one.

        For instance:
Bill Adee at VSIN thinks Oklahoma is the first team out and Texas, the last team in.
        Conversely,
Joe Lunnardi, over there at the "World Wide Leader in Sports" (to which I say, "Really? Says who? ") said he thinks Oklahoma is the last in, and Texas is the first out.

VCU's been getting some love the past couple of hours.
        VCU was -2.5 (-120 at DK) and -160 m/l

That was before I took Tessie Dog out for her morning poop.
Now, VCU is -3.5 (-112 at DK) and -170 m/l

I can watch a tournament game from jump to final whistle without any skin in the game.
I'll pay attention to what's going on, but from a wagering standpoint, I want no part of it.
I have no idea how that plays out. The 138.5 game total is a tad baffling, though.
