I’ve been betting for a couple of years now and I’ve tried almost every +EV tool out there. They’re ok for US markets but it's so saturated. I wanted to look at soccer (Serie A, Bundesliga, etc.), it’s like they don’t exist or they can’t handle the three-way markets and quarter-goal spreads.
I’m an analyst by trade, so after getting frustrated with the lack of tools, I spent the last 9 months building my own backtesting engine and tracker specifically to find edges in these "ignored" markets.
I was shocked by what I found. When you actually factor in the draw and look at global volume, the alpha is massive compared to crowded US markets. I’m currently sitting at a 9.26% ROI over 215 bets YTD for soccer alone.
Am I missing something? Is there a reason the big tools aren't touching this effectively, or have you guys found edges in Soccer too?
