5th team in eight seasons. Now, a Super-Bowl winning QB. That's not a long list (when you factor in the repeat-winners).

There have been other reclamation projects who lifted the trophy:
*Jim Plunkett: banged up w/ NE/SF. Was briefly out of football, then won Super Bowl.
*Trent Dilfer: busted out w/ the Bucs. Won title w/ Ravens.

Agreed and happy for Darnold as well.

Goes to show that these young QBs need time to mature and there is zero patience anymore with the media/local fanbases. Also goes to show what a nightmare it would be to be a QB drafted by the dysfunctional Jets franchise...not only do you have to deal with the nightmare of the local media and delusional fanbase but a franchise that can't get out of it's own way. Oregon QB Dante Moore saw the writing on the wall and chose to go back to Oregon rather than risk getting drafted by the Jets and that was a very smart decision by the looks of it.
