Taking the 4.5 for small/fun, 1 or 2 units. I also like the intangible that Vrable's been there what 3 times? Means a bit!!

Will also play a few props.

I will miss the old kickoff (will it be returned y/n). N was an auto for a few years.

    BOL!!

      Oh yeah?

Here is what I don't get.

I've read that 8 out of 10 major oddsmakers have predicted Seattle win and cover. 1 is predicting right on either 3 or 4 point win for Seattle and only 1 is predicting New England win by 3 points.

ESPN is all on Seattle to win (SU picks only) and so is CBSSports except for one (picks with spread).

But what they said means nothing as they aren't the ones making bets (I suppose they could be betting but too small number of people who couldn't possibly slant the bet percentage).

Then, I go to the Covers forum (first time ever) and the majority there seems to be backing New England and they are the public for sure. At BMR I don't know who there are betting real money, but maybe except you they are backing New England too. The roofer guy who bets rather big even said he was leaning New England and under, but that means nothing as he's changed his final bets at random. I thought maybe he was good but I'm almost sure he is "High3rEl3m3nt" here and he lost rather big last before stop posting here, so he loses badly too.

All I know is 2 people, one from Covers and one from X, are on 80%+ win rate for the Super Bowls and this year's playoffs and they both picked Seattle.

Lastly, about the poll here, here is what I'm thinking. If you don't have real money involved in picking a team, it's a lot easier to see who's going to win. It's when you have money involved that you over analyze things and end up making the wrong decision.

All I did is look at the big picture and Seattle is the better team and bet them on the moneyline. If they lose, then at least I bet on the better team and it is what it is. No one can predict how the ball bounces and who's going to make turnovers which I'm sure will be the deciding factor. Both teams make turnovers, so who knows who's going to make more and lose. No one knows.

You did create a thread for Seattle to win and cover, correct? That's already a good sign for me since I'm on the moneyline. Thanks.

If the moneyline climbs, then I might even bet more on Seattle moneyline. I would be worried if it went down.

Good points and yes I’m picking Seahawks to win and cover. But, honestly, I’m getting nervous as Seahawks shouldn’t be given this much pts. This reminds me of 49ers vs Chiefs. I like Niners but thought it was not right them as outright faves. I think -1.5 or 2. It should’ve been pick’em. And the public were all over Niners.

Getting the same feeling with Seahawks as they should only be -1 or 1.5 but not -4.5. This worst part is the public is also all over them, too.

I hear you; except Kyle Shanahan is a bonehead coach not like his dad and blows a game with 25 point lead against the Patriots.

Hopefully, McDonald and Kubiak aren't like him and pull out the win. It will be tough as New England D is very good, but Maye isn't Mahomes; at least not yet.

Lastly, I'm sure Vrabel is a good coach, but he did get fired from Tennessee.

Oh well, my bet's in already so I can only sit tight and see how the Super Bowl goes.

I was planning on betting more on Seattle ML and I might still do it if the moneyline price goes up. It just means that Seattle has more chance of winning SU.

Just as I expected, the bet percentage is starting to move towards New England. I can only hope that it all evens out by the kick off. All I know is that early percentage was skewered by the sharp bets; at least that's what I read.

Maybe Johnny will be coaching in the game. He may not want to tip his hand if he's building up the game-plan.

Win is win. Just bet the damn Seattle moneyline and get over with it.

At least now you are thinking wisely instead of posting New England moneyline.

Don't be so obessed with getthing the plus odd.

Just so you know, Seattle will never be behind, so you are never going to get your chance to bet their moneyline at a plus money.

The best Seattle moneyline price is now even though it's rather high vs the current spread.

How can you not root for Sam Darnold after watching that video?

No matter how much New England could be using the underdog thing as their motivation, Seattle also has a bone to pick with them for what happened in the past Super Bowl and they will be very motivated to beat them.

You mean the SB where Wilson threw that pick on New England's one-yard line?
                            a) There are no players from either side who played in that game who will be playing Sunday.
                            b) Seahawks fans should have a bone to pick with Carroll for drawing up that play, not the Patriots.
Pete Carroll and Russel Wilson are to blame there.

There is no motivation factor there.

There was another Patriots coach who got fired from a lousy team and later won a few Super Bowls. Honestly, I don’t like Seahawks pick anymore. JV is on them and as noted before, this is reminding me of 49ers vs Chiefs. Btw JV also picked Niners for that game, too. Luckily I can cash out my bets. I’m gonna look at the total and props for this game.

                              Good luck!

Johnny, here's a Q: *Are there any HOLDOVERS from SB XLIX (49)?

*Not counting the SEA GM Schneider.

*I could only find one Player/Coach still in the same position: NEW ENG Off Coord McDaniels held a similar position during the 2014 season.

Damn it, how in the world did I miss this?

Oh I know, I was busy gambling in the casino at Hard Rock in AC.

I won but I rather fade JV and make more doing nothing than waste hours in the casino to win only a few hundred dollars.

Is there a way to have this site email notify me when JV posts?

There were all these young girls wearing cowgirl outfits with short skirts all over the casino when it's freaking cold outside. It was some sight to be seen.

JV is on them and as noted before, this is reminding me of 49ers vs Chiefs. Btw JV also picked Niners for that game, too. Luckily I can cash out my bets. I’m gonna look at the total and props for this game.

                                            Good luck!
Technically, what JV said is lean only and not officially his pick yet. As I said before, I don't think he will have the plus money chance to even bet them if he doesn't bet the moneyline now but he doesn't want to since he doesn't want to lay -225 or more. Honestly, it's always the dog plus moneyline that he picks and loses. I wouldn't worry about what he picks even if it's on Seattle.

Damn, I just checked and FanDuel's Seattle moneyline is now -245. That's a good sign for my Seattle moneyline bet at -205.

If they were dropping, then I would be concerned because it can only be the sharps betting the New England moneyline.

When Mattress Mack unloaded $2 Mil on the New England moneyline, the moneyline didn't budget at all.

                                            Go Seahawks!!!

                                                a) There are no players from either side who played in that game who will be playing Sunday.
                                                b) Seahawks fans should have a bone to pick with Carroll for drawing up that play, not the Patriots.
Pete Carroll and Russel Wilson are to blame there.

There is no motivation factor there.

Good thing that I didn't see this post until just now; otherwise I would have unloaded on Duke ML and lost big.

Making money isn't all about winning your picks. It's also about not betting the ones you would have lost.
