Both teams are pretty banged up on both sides of the ball, so this could be a battle of attrition. The 49ers quarterback situation is dicey. Brock Purdy is trying to work his way back from a turf toe injury and Mac Jones sustained a knee contusion last week.
    San Francisco 49ers -2.5 (-115) @ New York Giants

Trust me on this, I grew up in the swamps of Jersey before I moved up here, there's no gold in the marshlands of East Rutherford.

Yeah, I think SF is the right side, and I'm a diehard NYG fan.

Two things: I'm always leery of any West Coast team crossing three time zones for a game on the East Coast, and it's nut-cracking cold. I woke up to 28 degrees, which isn't so bad, but it's windy AF too (gusting to 30 mph). With the wind chill factor, it felt like 12 degrees, and it's not even winter yet.
Same conditions in Foxboro, too, which is like a 2-hour (an hour and 40 minutes ride if you feel like doing 70 mph) drive from Casa de Nasher

The temps are supposed to be in the low to mid-40s at kick off, and the winds are supposed to diminish as well

The NY-SF game still feels like an over 47.5.

I don’t know if Niners still do this but if they are playing in Central/Eastern time zones games on the road that are back to back, they would travel to Youngstown, Ohio instead of going back to the Bay Area. When Eddie DeBartolo owned the team he made a temporary training facility (his hometown… gotta love the corruption) there for this type of reason. So don’t think there’s any travel fatigue for them.

And with Skattebol and Nabers out will leave Daxon without much weapons.

Wan'Dale has stepped up nicely since Nabers went down, and Tracy is a capable RB1 while Skat is out.
Keep an eye on the beefy TE from Penn State that the Giants drafted, Theo Johnson. He's got a pretty good game, and he's still just a rookie.

          It's Daboll I dislike. Personally, I think he's a fraud.

nasher, did you see or hear about Dart going to the children's hospital? No love for the Giants but I'm a fan of his now. The way he lovingly treated the children was heartwarming to see.

Dart's a class act; everybody loves him up here.
Darke Maye, too, has won over the Boston fans. Maye's a class act too.
I have no use for Buffalo, but Josh Allen quietly donates a shit-ton of money to Buffalo's Children's Hospital
Three QBs that 'get it.' Those who have the resources to look after those who can't fend for themselves are all right with me.

Once upon a time, the Pats and G-Men were beasts of the east; both Maye and Dart have given hope to the Boston and New York fans.

Hey, I just noticed you won the poker tourney last week
              Good job, bud,

Didn’t he barge in the post concussion tent demanding Dart to play.
