Didn't see a whole lot of the game but from what I saw, he didn't look bad.

Still a rookie, albeit an old one, and that showed. I mean, why not, but he will have to step up for it to be any more than a lateral move IMO.

Thus, closing the book on Spencer Rattler's New Orleans Saints career.
This is the second time Rattler has been benched for crappy QB play. I think Kellen Moore has seen just about enough of 'noodle arm'

Rattler's career record as a Saint is stellar: 1 -13.
      Those are Justin Fields' numbers.

They are trying to get the #1 pick in draft now that the Jets won a game. Would get interesting towards the end and a few teams would be tanking.

Rookie comes in. One year older than Rattler.

In fairness to Rattler, he played OK. Team wasn't lucky. Made the change, I expect Shough to do well.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Rattler has had only one good game all season, week five v. NYG, but then again, who doesn't play well against the Giants?

His other seven starts were not good; the blowout game last week v. Tampa Bay is what did him in.
I'll post the QB metrics below, but his across-the-board numbers are below league average.
Depending on how much of a premium you place on certain QB numbers while you're doing your analysis, Rattler ranks 20th, or worse, of the 26 league QBs that have made a minimum of six starts.

I'm not a hater. I don't know the man, having never met him, but he comes across as a good guy, and most of the media types I chat with pretty much say the same thing: that he's a good kid.

Rattler doesn't have a big enough NFL arm; he's like Tua, the difference being Rattler doesn't have Tyreek Hill (when he's not on IR) or Waddle to throw to, or an Achane in the backfield.
