    Investigation (Tulsa vs. ECU)
They need to look into a betting/points scandal. How do you kick a meaningless field goal down by 17 with less than 2 minutes left.
Unless you know the spread is 16.5, that’s how.

I can imagine coaches would like to point to team beating the spread as proof he is doing a decent job with a poor team, without caring about betting implications.

I said this the other night and plz listen. First off what moron would bet this game to begin with? Just Kidding, there are ppl now paying the bill for these teams AKA Boosters and they want a cover no matter what. If u don't cover u get no more money from us. Especially smaller schools.......... Wake UP everyone.

17 points is a 3 possesion game. By kicking a FG they made it a 2 possesion game. Had nothing to do with the spread. This is not like the winning team trying to shave points.

I agree. Let’s face it. The lines are tight. A point or two is a lot. There have always been games like this. It’s just that with point spreads everywhere these days, it’s going to show up often enough.

I have to think there were 17’s out there maybe 17 1/2’s as well.

              You made my point.
There's no fix here; it's too obvious.
