Not too surprising. Think it had to happen. Would have been very hard for him to continue the season.

Won't say I feel bad for him. But the players need to bear some responsibility for not playing better.

Sure seems like the fans wanted him gone. I wonder if any of the players spoke up post-game on his behalf:
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Watched one interview. IMHO, a veteran player is in a position to stand up for his HC. Take responsibility as a player.

Not saying it would have helped. Think you deflect pressure off the HC:
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

They owe him $57 million. I think he never has to work again.

He should have been sent packing the week before.

I heard the post-game press conference last night; Franklin sounded like a man on his deathbed.
Shit rolls downhill; it starts with Franklin. His team was not prepared, and as a result, they got rag-dolled.

Allar got KOed, doesn't matter, he was way overrated. I kept hearing about how good a field manager he was supposed to be.

You could have fooled me. When I think of game managers, I'm thinking Alex Smith, or Phil Simms, and Allar ain't all that

Franklin will never sniff a HC gig with a power conference team again, unless it's a bottom-feeder like Boston College.

He might be a good NFL DC or asst. coordinator, who knows?
