    MNF: Massacre Monday! Chiefs
I can't believe how devasting Sunday was and I could've avoided it if I went with my first instinct. Had Vikings in my survivor contest but changed up to those stupid Cardinals who played w/o thinking whatsoever. Oh well, remedy is to get a win on MNF. Taking the Chiefs to massacre those Jaguars.

    Chiefs -3.5 (-105)

I have no doubt that Chiefs will win. Mahomes is back w/ that lob pass. Let's go Chiefs!

Put $180 on Fan Duel special Mahomes 25+ yds each quarter (-120). Seems so easy, but I lost last one. 2-1 but this is 3x bigger bet

              1Q good to go

Magic Mahomes somehow makes a deep pass completion to avoid a sack. I feel Jags pain as Niners fan when we played against them in the SB.

14-7 @ halftime. Mahomes with passing TD and running TD. This is in the bag!

Lawrence said I can pass and rush for TDs, too. Tied up 14-14.

                                Yeah, I'll say.
I would have written it up and posted it; I had a small $40 moneyline wager (Jax +170).
I was spent, I took the night off on the sofa to watch baseball and the Jax game.

Three different times, I was like, "Jax money line is dead money, wait a minute, it's not dead money."
insane is the correct adjective, I agree, Fred.

The Lawrence TD at the end very well might be his signature moment.
He never panicked. I was paying attention to the post-game presser.
Lawrence was just as impressive in the press conference as he was on the field.
I'm paraphrasing here, Lawrence pretty much said, "I knew I wasn't touched when I tripped and fell, the play's still alive."...
He went on to say he was aware we had no time-outs left, and he was ready to flip the ball out of bounds to stop the clock so we could have time enough to run one more play... Then he saw the path to the end zone, took it...
To quote the late, great Paul Harvey, "And now you know the rest of the story."

                                Two takeaways.
                                1) I'm hardly a Lawrence fanboy. I was ready to give up on him.
Maybe I'm wrong, he might not be an NFL bust, but I still need more consistency.
His ability to think like that, under that pressure, MNF, 60000 fans screaming, national TV, all that bullshit, the thought process was incredible, all things considered.

                                2) The Lloyd 99-yard pick-six.
Did you notice that when he crossed the goal line, he kept running for about five more yards with both hands on the ball?
Lloyd knows better than to flip the ball and start a "Happy Dance"
                                Lloyd knows. lol
