Well they were certainly fake or stolen. I doubt Sammy happened across a clearance sale and picked up a load of Cartier watches at 80% off, so either way you're doing something illegal and stupid.

having the acct frozen is better for you in the long run.
by the time the authorities gather enough evidence and bring you in to press charges you might have access to the money to pay your bail
