JFC, people are offended by damn near anything nowadays. Given the context of the situation with Manning laying an egg early in the season and fans booing him at home, I do not have an issue with him trying to regain his confidence and swagger.

Very raw. His mechanics are poor, which is surprising for a Manning. The Gators will help n derp around and find a way to lose but he’ll look awful in the process.

Wait until he gets around the family. They will straighten him up.

He has a right to be fired up about his play and the previous boos. But he is still to immature to know how to best show it.

He will figure it out and all the fans will be cheering.

Sometimes fan bases are really pathetic.

He is expected to go from zero to hero overnight. That's almost impossible but his last name gives him a chance in my opinion.

What do you mean wait until he gets around the family? He grew up in the family. He’s been at Texas for 3 years, no excuse to still be “raw”.

Manning publicly apologized for his actions yesterday. His mother was very upset when it happened. We both know the entire family was as well.

This stuff is a bit hard to understand for me as foreigner.

American sports in general seem a bit over the top with high fives and post play celebrations. Must be easy to step over the imaginary line from celebration to being a dick in the heat of the moment.

Racing drivers are excused all the time for being obnoxious on track or after a race with "champions are driven to win and no less".

Don't want to shame the guy into not giving his all emotionally I think.

I got a problem with it as he’s a QB and they’re protected like babies. Any other position is ok as he’ll be back on the field and will have to face the consequences of taunting or back it up. QBs need to shut up and throw the damn ball.

And isn’t this the crybaby school that whined about opponents doing the horns down sign which is now penalized as taunting.

I think we need to remember that he is 21 years old, and therefore, most likely a dumb ass. And I say that knowing full well, when I was 21 and starting out as a business owner with employees, I was a dumb ass.

He learned more about life than he did about football last Saturday.

He was hit and miss. Missed a lot of open receivers. Moved the ball with his feet but overall, just not what you want out of your QB. The backup came in for 1 play and threw a better pass. Billy Napier made the game much closer than it should have been. Both teams are coached poorly.

But I made a bunch fading Manning. They’re going to lose a few more games if they don’t bench him.
