i think they catch boston in wild card. 5 remaining against detroit wouldn’t shock me.

Cleveland wins again last night to move to 4.5 games back. Can Skubal stop the bleeding for the Tigers today?

BetMGM is the only book I see with the AL Central market up right now. Guardians now +1600

They play another 3-game series next week in Cleveland.

Tribe now 1 game back and hosting the Tigers for a 3-game set in Cleveland starting today. They then finish at home vs the Rangers who are all but eliminated.

Tigers end at Boston who will still be fighting for a wild card spot.

                Who takes the AL Central?

What a meltdown. If not for the Astros limping to the finish line the Tigers would be out of the playoffs right now. Final 5 games are going to be very interesting

Indians were 12.5 games out 30 days ago. This would be the most epic comeback in MLB history.

Cleveland starting pitching have not given up more than 2 runs in the last 20 games. That’s how you run off 16-2 record. I think they had 19 strikeouts last night. Wow!

Pitching wins baseball championships, not hitting.
It's simple; it's been that way for the last 150 years.

Cleveland had like a 0.4% chance at winning the division. That’s insane. I heard you had to bet $28k to win a $100 on Detroit winning the division before their collapse. Imagine placing that bet.

The Tigers finally stop the bleeding and beat Cleveland on Thursday. They now have the same record but the Guardians hold the tiebreaker.

Odds to win the AL Central going into the final series:

From 15.5 games back and +25000 odds to win the division, the Guardians complete the comeback and claim the AL Central.

Their opponent in the wildcard round? The Tigers.

                                                    Great sport story.

Yeah, the Guardians now have to take care of business. Nothing matters if they go down to the Tigers.

The Mets also imploded this season. 178 days in playoff position to not make the playoffs. Unreal.

They caught them but couldn't beat them in playoffs.
