Hey, Pack. It was culmination of things:
1) Chefs had won 17 straight one-score games. So, a little lucky.
2) Salary cap was top-heavy. Mahomes/Kelce stats had been declining.
3) Chefs reminded me of 1968 Packers and 1980 Steelers. 22 extra games, wear-down effect.

Cheers Chucky with that call. I did not see them missing the playoffs. I did however bet my brother in law's brother(Chiefs fan) that KC would not win the AFC West...he took KC, I took the field. Looking forward to collecting next time I see him and just smiling a shit eating grin

Thx, Jake! I thought the Chiefs might slip. It's amazing that Mahomes virtually blocked the AFC for 7 years:
1) One yr as Alex Smith's apprentice. 7 yrs as starter: made AFC Champ each year.
2) 5-2 in those games. Two close losses to NE/CIN.
3) 3-2 in Super Bowls. Three titles. I think they should let Kelce go.

I'd be shocked if Kelce did not retire this offseason. Why would he come back if Mahomes is going to be out for a portion of the season and they look to be in a bit of a rebuilding mode? He was close to hanging them up last offseason supposedly...
