I didn't think Jerry would get rid of Micah.
    I'm a tad surprised.

Wow. Heard the Packers were working on a deal.

        Honest comment:
        1) Best move that Jerry's pulled in a while. Dumps a guy who was grumbling.
        2) Packers are now OVER-rated.
        3) Jerry will win an award for his cameo on LANDMAN.

Bayless is a hack, a good print journalist to be fair, but he's such a terrible listen on air that I need to turn it off.

                He's spineless and creepy, also.

On the East Coast, we have Michael Kay, voice of the New York Yankees; he's like Skippy, too, a great print journalist, but doesn't belong on air.

They should have traded him months ago before the draft and probably would have got a better return.

Just another example of Jerry Jones the GM, mucking up a contract negotiation.

I thought Cowboys got a good deal here. I mean they didn't want to Parsons anyway so might as well get a pair of 1st round picks.

If you look at what the Raiders got for Khalil Mack years back(the best comp I could find in recent history), the Raiders got a better trade package for a lesser player. Parsons has been a top defensive player in the league since he stepped foot in the NFL and it took Mack a little bit to get going(only 4 sacks his rookie year).

Given that, I'd say that Dallas did not get enough and would have received more had they opened up the bidding prior to the draft instead of desperately dumping him a week before the regular season starts.

Jerry could have signed him for waaay less if he had addressed this LAST YEAR! Take some tips from Howie Roseman, if you have a guy you KNOW you're going to sign then get it done ASAP. Eagles are going to throw a boatload of cash at Jalen Carter and he's not eligible to get resigned until the next offseason but there's no way you wait another year to get it done. It's only going to get more expensive the linger you wait. Philly would have signed him as soon as he was eligible. Jerry is a bad cap manager.

                              Carter is already NFL-proven, and he's only 23, 24?
