As a kid , and through my middle year's, I was a faithful Toronto Maple Leafs fan. My favorite players were George " The Chief " Armstrong , Darryl Sittler , Wendle Clark ..... I was on my Dad's shoulders in 1967 as we watched the Stanley Cup celebration on Bay St in Toronto. They have broken my heart too many times to count. I admit that I get sucked in every so often when they actually make the playoffs. Still, I don't follow them during the season anymore. With soccer I am a lifetime Bayern and Germany fan , so I feel the love back more often then not.
