    Sports Betting Documentary Casting
Thought I'd give this a go here at the risk of full-troll mode:

I'm working with a documentary director who has directed films for HBO and Amazon (and edited shows including Drunk History, McMillions, etc) to build a film that follows an eccentric character in the world of sports betting. Part of the doc will examine the legislation and big tech that has led to big betting, but more importantly, we want to find an eccentric character or set of characters to humanize what would otherwise be a massive web of politics, corruption, etc.

If you are or know someone who is surprising, bizarre, funny, idiosyncratic who is deeply into sports betting and you think would be fun to follow for an hour and a half, DM me.

I've been using this forum for my own betting over the years and have seen his name pop up. What's his deal? Where can I find him?

Yea - got to agree here. JJ would be a good representative on camera.

A lot of gamblers are “quirky” - but just too unpredictable or wouldn’t present well on camera. JJ though has the personality to be memorable and the knowledge to not sound like a complete dipshit (when he isn’t trying to sound like one at least).

I wouldn’t use that clown. It would be one of the worst documentary ever. Don’t even think he has money to bet.

Gamblers typically have many other problems…. Drinking, drugs, hookers, alimony, financial issues, all of the above, etc…
