How do I beat this gambling addiction? Any ideas? I went to an addiction site for alcohol and drugs and asked what I could do for my gambling addiction and they banned me. This may be my last resort. Help.

When you're getting off drugs, you go to treatment and detox, then go through whatever treatment the facility recommends until they say you're ready to leave. Then you come out and keep working the steps and go to meetings. I would recommend this same course of action. Treatment will kind of get you kick started and get the hardest part out of the way. Then you'll get out, and the most important thing will be to continue going to meetings. If you do all that, and really want it, you'll be alright.Originally posted by OnTheRunComment -

There is no cure cause it's not a sickness. This is a gambling site & we don't want to hear your whining! Why would you come to a place where everybody gambles and ask how do you stop? We have never *uckin' stopped obviously so I think we are the last people on earth for this subjectComment -
