"All eyes, and bets, will be on Messi and Co. to top this group. However, we're not convinced the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner will be enough to carry an above-average MLS side to a first-place finish. Instead, we're looking at Brazilian side Palmeiras to top the bunch.

The South American giants are the most experienced at the Club World Cup after finishing as runners-up under the old format in 2021. Abel Ferreira boasts an abundance of talent at his disposal, chief among them is teenage Chelsea signee Estevao Willian, who led the Brazilian top flight in goal contributions last season with 22."

"While I believe this is one of the strongest groups in the competition - if not the strongest - I'm also recommending this play at five-star confidence. PSG are coming off the single most impressive Champions League final performance in recent memory, which secured the latest piece of silverware for the club's extensive trophy cabinet.

Luis Enrique is an excellent tournament manager. He's also got a couple of seasons to settle in at the Parc des Princes and instill his style of free-flowing football on his talented group.

Les Parisiens have extensive depth, led by Ballon d'Or candidate Ousmane Dembele, and an impenetrable midfield trio featuring Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Fabian Ruiz.

The European champions are trading at minus money across our best sports betting apps. However, it's Caesars (-125) that has the best odds, compared to bet365 (-138) and FanDuel (-130). PSG to win Group B is a play I'd recommend anywhere up to -200; anything shorter and Atletico Madrid becomes worth a flier."

"With all due respect to the other three teams, Group C is shaping up to be a matter of who qualifies in second place. Bayern Munich are vastly superior to their competition, with a healthy mix of European pedigree and budding attacking talent available for selection under Vincent Kompany.

Harry Kane is one of the most accomplished individuals in this entire tournament. The English striker has nearly 400 career goals to his name, and plenty of stars to create chances for him, such as Michael Olise. Kompany and Co. also went to work in the mini pre-tournament transfer window to sure up the defense, adding centerback Jonathan Tah.

While we're offering up Bayern Munich (-200) with four-star confidence, the favorite isn't playable at shorter odds. Instead, we suggest shopping around our best sports betting apps and betting a group exacta. "There is no midfield in Group D - and few in the entire tournament - that can run with Chelsea's trio of Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, and Cole Palmer. Real Batis fans still have nightmares of Enzo Maresca's main men after they blitzed the Spanish side for four second-half goals in a recent European final.

The Blues are one of the most expensively assembled teams on the planet. They're in excellent form right now, and with new signing Liam Delap ready as a striking reinforcement, it's no wonder the English giants are one of the early tournament favorites.

Our best sports betting apps are all offering Chelsea to win Group D at odds equal to or longer than -200. However, bet365 stands out with its generous -175 price tag (63.64% implied probability). "Inter Milan are the best team in this group by a country mile - full stop. However, for the first time in four seasons, I Nerazzurri will have a new manager on the touchline after Simone Inzaghi departed for Saudi Arabia. We have yet to see how Inter Milan look under new gaffer Cristian Chivu, which should give bettors pause.

I Nerazzurri are trading at -250 to top Group E at the Club World Cup with our best sports betting apps. This is unplayable as the risk far outweighs the reward on a ticket that bettors must wager $25 to win $10. Instead, we're looking to play a Group E exacta, with Inter Milan topping the bunch and River Plate qualifying for the knockout stages, as well.

The goalscoring threats at Chivu's disposal give I Nerazzurri the leg up over their competition, but they're not worth betting straight up to win the group. Look to parlay Inter Milan with another group winner or play the aforementioned exacta in Group E."

"Two months ago, I might've tipped Fluminense to be a value pick in this group, with Dortmund in horrendous form domestically. However, Niko Kovac's team pulled off a remarkable turnaround in 2025, ascending from 11th to fourth in the Bundesliga, rattling off eight wins in its final 10 matches across all competitions.

The German giants have only strengthened in the weeks since, adding a trio of players to their ranks, including Jobe Bellingham. The depth and talent in BVB's ranks give them a significant advantage over the remainder of the group. This is especially true with Fluminense struggling domestically through 11 games, with just six wins in that span.

Dortmund are playable up to -250. Luckily, it'd take a lot for the German side to reach that number at bet365, which offers the most generous price of our best sports betting apps. If these odds do become untouchable, "Dortmund and Fluminense both to qualify" is trading at -165 with Caesars."

"Man City would've been our Group G winner pick at the end of the season at a five-star confidence level. However, after Pep Guardiola went out and spent $147.36 million in the pre-Club World Cup transfer market, we're even more confident. If there were such a thing as a six-star play, this would undoubtedly be one.

The Cityzens are adding Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki, and Tijjani Reijnders to an already world-class team that features the likes of Erling Haaland and reigning Ballon d'Or winner, Rodri. Man City coasted to their last Club World Cup win, defeating Fluminense 4-0 in the final. We expect much of the same domination here, at least until the latter stages.

Honestly, we're surprised to find Guardiola's side trading at just -225 with our best sports betting apps. They're playable until around -300; that's how confident we are that this well-oiled machine gets the job done in Group G. "Man City and Juventus to advance" is listed at -400 with Caesars, so this is the only playable market in the group."

"While this is usually where we gush about our winner selections, we won't do that here. Real Madrid are the runaway favorites in Group H, and travel malfunctions that cause them to forfeit a game entirely seem to be the only things that could keep them from advancing as winners. This is all to say there's no value at their odds, so we have to get creative in Group H.

Pachuca isn't in good form at the moment, sitting eighth in Liga MX with eight wins in 17 matches played. The Mexican side is simply outmatched in a group featuring two UEFA Champions League regulars and an experienced Saudi Arabian side that's no stranger to continental competitions.

Oddsmakers give the Tuzos just a 4.76% implied probability to win the group. We want no part of that pipe dream. Instead, we'll predict Pachuca to finish last at the +110 price generously offered by our best sports betting apps."
