Steroids or no steroids still a great feat. He must be a real a-hole. Because you dont hear about the others getting beat up for steroids like he does by the media. Everyone is talking about steroids but nobody mentions the fact that for the last 10 years the balls were juiced by MLB to bring the fans back after the strike season. I firmly believe that the spike in HR production the last 10 years has to do with juiced balls and bad pitching rather than steroids. The steroids is just the smokescreen.

Yes, that is the rumor. However, with the media hard on for this guy, I have trouble believing anything reported by them. He is a tough read, always has been. Hates the media, but wants to be respected by them. Hates and disrespects the fans, yet wants to be understood and liked by them. There are a lot of ugly locker room and live at the game situations that just show how bad he is, without the media throwing their hate in. The media could have chosen one of dozens to be the steroid poster boy. They chose him for a reason. At least this circus is over. Awful lot of hype for a last place team losing a game.
