Houston will be in a let-down spot after the Duke win. Wouldn't be surprised if they lose big.

#72That’s my thoughts as well. Huge emotional comeback win. It feels like they’ve already cut down the nets. We’ve seen this story many times before. I heard reports that their locker room was full of people and players past midnight celebrating. Huge red flag.Originally posted by pavyracerHouston will be in a let-down spot after the Duke win. The only thing that scares me is that UF has not been playing well in the tourney. B or C level effort. The turnovers are a huge problem versus a team like Houston that thrives on turnovers. Condon has been playing like dogshit as well. Is he going to step up or will he back down to a bunch of dawgs? Both teams are great 2nd half teams, that can comeback from any halftime deficit.
Auburn beat UH in Houston a few months ago and Florida is better than Auburn. Duke had this game and gave it away. Duke easily should have won by double digits. Now everyone is a prisoner of the moment. UH beat the best team in the tourney, so they should beat UF. I’m not buying it.Comment -

My issue with Duke is relying on a freshman to lead you to a title. Carmelo and McNamaro at Cuse and Anthony Davis, Marquis Teague and MKG are the only ones to do it..

Books really love Duke. I kind think the Big12 has value. Houston really could win it all. Final Four in San Antonio would give them (and TT) an edge.Comment -

#77Nailed this shit. SEC, SEC, SEC, SEC….Originally posted by Mac4LyfeI think this is the year the SEC shows who’s best in March. Usually they fail but this is the year. My money is on Florida. I think they are built to win it all. The committee got their heads out of their asses and have the top 4 SEC teams in separate draws. Auburn, Florida, Bama and Tennessee can each make a Final.
i think you will see at least 3 SEC teams in the Final 8. Maybe 4. And 2 teams in the Final 4.

#78In the 2025 NCAA Tournament, the Southeastern Conference (SEC) had a record-breaking performance, sending a record 14 of its 16 teams to the tournament, with 4 teams making the Elite Eight and 2 making the Final Four.
Here's a breakdown of the SEC's performance:
Record-Breaking Representation:
The SEC shattered the previous record for most teams from a single conference in the NCAA tournament field, with 14 teams qualifying.
Elite Eight & Final Four:
Four SEC teams advanced to the Elite Eight, and two of those teams, Auburn and Florida, reached the Final Four.
Final Four Contenders:
The SEC's top two teams, Auburn and Florida, faced each other in the Final Four, with Florida ultimately winning and advancing to the national championship game.
National Championship Game:
Florida defeated Houston in the national championship game, securing the national title for the Gators.
SEC Teams in the Tournament:
The 14 SEC teams that made the tournament were No. 1 Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Missouri, Mississippi State, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Record Payout:
The SEC will receive a record $70 million payout from the NCAA Tournament.
Record wins:
The SEC went 23-13 in the Tournament, the most ever wins by a conference.
NonConf Dominance:
In the 2024-25 season, SEC teams boasted an impressive 185-23 non-conference record, a winning percentage of 88.9%, marking a highly dominant performance.
Conference play:
The one knock on the season was the SEC going .500 in conference play. You can't win 'em all.
