I think this is the year the SEC shows who’s best in March. Usually they fail but this is the year. My money is on Florida. I think they are built to win it all. The committee got their heads out of their asses and have the top 4 SEC teams in separate draws. Auburn, Florida, Bama and Tennessee can each make a Final.

i think you will see at least 3 SEC teams in the Final 8. Maybe 4. And 2 teams in the Final 4.

Well for their sake I hope they can do something. For all the talk if one of them doesn't cut the nets down it will be an epic fail. I think out of the whole group Florida has the best chance and is the best team in that conference, as I have stated like you Mac. I still am not sold at all on the rest of the teams. Regular season accolades don't mean shit anymore so we will see how they fair. I already found a few nice lines on fades against this conference. It is their time to prove me wrong but I think it will play out the same way, most will fall straight on their face when it matters.

On the flip-side, who do you like as a good ATS Dog coach in tournament games?

It's all about the Dead-Presidents in the gaming world. If you can cherry-pick the coaches, that might be an angle.

I can say that Majerus was a pretty good spot ATS dog coach. Painter from Purdue has laid an egg MULTIPLE TIMES as a hi-seed.

Ya, Yale +7 was the first bet I booked. Texas A&M terrible 3 point shooting team and terrible free throw shooting team. Yale has veterans and are very physical.

My issue with Duke is relying on a freshman to lead you to a title. Carmelo and McNamaro at Cuse and Anthony Davis, Marquis Teague and MKG are the only ones to do it. Plus Flagg has a gimpy ankle. I think they get bounced early actually. The Miss St/Baylor winner both have a shot and I really like Oregon. They had a bad stretch middle of the season but getting better. If they can knock down 3s, look out.

I think Georgia beats the Zags. Mike White is a hard coach to figure out. This UGA team can compete with any team. Their defense, especially defending the perimeter and guard play is outstanding. I can see them giving Nembhard fits. That will make it difficult for Gonzaga to get in their offense.

I don’t think either team beats Houston though. UGA has the better chance of dealing with the physicality of Houston. I still like Houston in that second round. The 2 teams in that bracket that can beat Houston are Purdue and UT.

I was at the Crystal Palace in the Bahamas. I went up 5 Gs on blackjack. I threw down $100 on the Gators. I went up like another thousand and said, WTH, I’m going to put a couple hundred more on them but my wife came by the table, was hungry and we went to lunch. I never got the other bets down. Ugh but was still a big pay day.

I really want to take SDSt vs UNC but all this talk about UNC not deserved a spot has me rethinking. UNC is probably going to be extra motivated to show the world they should be in the field. Probably staying off this one. UNC first half is probably a good bet.

This is done on purpose. NCAA wants teams in Sweet 16 from all conferences to fill the Arenas and make sure the TV ratings are up to par with what the networks paid for. It's a business at the end of the day. A few bad calls at the end to put teams on the FT line decide a 2-4 point game either way.

Agreed. I also think it's gonna even out now and become less one-sided. I like at least one of two lower seeds (UK and Ole Miss) to advance today, and give it 30% for both to pull the mini upsets.

Chucky - I’m the exact opposite. I think it’s a blow out win start to finish. Florida has all the tools, incredible guard play and huge, skilled big men. This is not a homer take. This Gator team is stacked. Great shooters and will kill you on the boards. I don’t see a UConn advantage in any part of the game. Slow it down half court favors UF. Speed it up track meet, UF can do that. Plus the depth on this squad is tremendous. UF has an embarrassment of riches at every position.

i’mon UF -5.5 first half and -9 for the game. Very large bets on both. I’ve had this game circled the minute the brackets came out.
