    Caution : posting from work
I know a guy who was fired from a career type job because he spent too much time on the internet on company time/computer. He thought he covered his tracks and was careful, but they were able to know exactly where he went online and for how long. And it wasn't porn or gambling stuff.

    Be careful -

Tech wise it does not matter what you use, incognito windows, clean history, redirectors, most companies use internal gateways/proxies, those keep track of every website accessed by any IP withing their network, if they want to see where you were navigating they can.

The safest way to go is using an online proxy or software like proxifier, which would "hide" your real traffic by directing it through a "tunnel" or so.

But then again, if you appreciate your job, play by the rules

This would never apply to me because I don't work I am a Democrat and have 8 kids I would rather let the goverment support me and my family. Free housing, food, and spending money. We live well. We have Satellite TV, High Speed Internet, a big screen TV, a WII, every luxury imaginable. Me and my wife smoke atleast 2 packs of cigarettes everyday and I drink about 18 beers a day. Most nights I stay up till 2am and don't wake till nearly noon. THANK YOU TAXPAYERS, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

I was once a business owner before I retired and I can say that out of the 7 office employees we had, none we permitted to be on myspace, etc. It really effect productivity and any logical business owner will tell you this.

Surfing on the companies computer is like going raw on hooker's in Africa. Your rolling the dice with your own dick in your hand. Easy solution... Get a netbook and tether your phone for the internet.
