Thanks for all the good work. I really appreciate the live lines and the archives.
My question is about the plugin message i keep getting. I use firefox 2.0.0.6. When I try to install the "missing" plugin, quicktime , firefox says it can't find it and sends me to the Apple site where I see nothing related to the needed plugin for this application.
The firefox message says that without that plugin I am missing some media stuff the site has. My question is : what am I missing? I believe it has something to do with sound. If that's all I am missing, I wish I didn't have to get the annoying message over and over again. In fact, I have my settings set for NO sound. I had hoped that would cause me not to get the message. No luck.
Please let me know if I am right in that all I am missing is sound, which I don't want anyway.
And if my settings say 'no sound' , is there some way that almost "pop up like" message could be eliminated. It's not terrible to have it keep occurring, but I'd prefer not to see it if I don't want or really need the plugin.
thanks
