More guys than ever are out there trying to middle games. What did hitting your first one feel like? Did it get you hooked for life on always trying for middles?

Several years ago when you could get some distance between lines, I played Over 209 and under 212 between the Lakers and Golden State for 3 dimes a rattle. With time running out and the score at 208, a GSW player banged home a meaningless 3 pointer to put the total at 211. I made 6 dimes on that shot and had nobody to celebrate with as I was all alone, watching the game at home. I made myself a cocktail and went to bed.

LOL, I am more of a Polish Middler than a traditional Middler so the middle hitting is no fun for me.
The Colts have burned me twice this year (-1 v Pats cost me 6+ units).

Back around 1991 I had two locals and in a Duke game one night they had a difference of 6 points on the spread.

I put a dime with each on trying to middle the game , Duke had the spread covered by double digits most of the game and the other team made a rush in the last couple of minutes and I middled it.

Was a pretty cool feeling !!!!

I was telling a friend of mind at the track the next day and he said no reputtable bookie would ever have a line off that bad.

the funny thing is the bookie with the bad line was one of the biggest bookies in B'ham.

Guy could not believe it when I told him which bookie.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever even attempted a middle. I just don't know the logistics enough to attempt it at the moment. I'll read up on when the best time to middle is before football season though

I saw it coming from the moment the officials gave a (bullsh!t) interference call that allowed the Colts to within 6. What happened thereafter was almost ordained.

I had actually traded/bet myself into a great position, essentially laid 6.3-1 on what was a 40-1 outcome.

Been talk I have seen of polish middling the Super Bowl. +4.5 on the Saints at +odds and -5.5 on the Colts at +odds. What are the chances a team wins by 5? Not much at all - could be worth a look.

Probability of the Colts winning by 5 is about 1.8%.
I have no play for the Superbowl but have already booked about 15k (evenly) on sides at Betfair.

The only middle I remember hitting is Giants/Patriots Super Bowl Under 54. Then at the half playing over 20.5 when it was 7-3 at half. Had a 24 point middle chance. It came through with 21 points in the 2H on the final drive. That was a good day. Two large bets couldn't have worked out better.
